With the modern sports hall, the football field and numerous bicycle routs - Jelsa is the ideal place for all types of sporting activities. The island of Hvar has a long tradition in sports - especially in football. There is a local league, so-called Forska league with 12 clubs from all over the island and matches are taking place every weekend on 5 football fields.
Other sports are also popular. At the beginning of the season, we have tennis and handball camps from Germany.  
 
Thanks to the pleasant climate and mild winters (average winter temperature of 10°C) there are many opportunities for sports and other outdoor activities in Jelsa and on the entire island.
 
Sports Hall is located 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel Hvar and only a few meters from the medical institution and emergency room. It is a new, modern sport center in Jelsa suitable for indoor sports and other activities. The capacity of the hall is 274 seating places with air-conditioning and heating system.
 
We are offering a sports package for the athletes coming for sports preparations, for amateurs, and for those wishing to explore the island on a bicycle. Available sports activities in Jelsa:
